The Board of Directors and Staff at Rêve Preparatory Charter School invite you to an extraordinary black-tie affair—a night dedicated to celebrating the power of education, honoring those who champion student success, and investing in the bright futures of our scholars.
Set in the distinguished Buffalo Soldier National Museum in Houston, TX, this unforgettable evening will feature a curated dining experience, live music, a high-energy auction, and moving tributes to our beloved founder, Traci E. Thibodeaux, and to Rep. Alma Allen. Guests will also have the opportunity to engage with inspiring student leaders and witness firsthand the transformative impact of their generosity.
We are dedicated to providing every opportunity for success, but we need your support to continue empowering the children of Southeast Houston. By joining us as a sponsor, you help pave the way for future leaders and innovators.
Traci Thibodeaux founded Rève Preparatory Charter School in 2018. A native of Houston, Texas, she was determined to give back to the children within her community. She dedicated her life to ensuring students were provided with a high-quality education and equal rights regardless of their race, gender, or economic status. With over 18 years of experience, she knew what it would take to establish a foundation for all students to be able to thrive and overcome educational challenges. Today, we honor her legacy and determination for putting others first.
Rêve Preparatory Public School is proud to honor Dr. Alma Allen, a lifelong educator and dedicated public servant, at this year’s Honoree Gala. Dr. Allen has served as a Texas State Representative for District 131 since 2005, championing education reform, equity, and community empowerment. With a distinguished career spanning over 39 years in the Houston Independent School District, she has worked as a teacher, assistant principal, principal, and administrator, shaping the future of countless students.
Beyond her legislative and educational impact, she has also contributed to Texas education policy as a former member of the Texas State Board of Education. Dr. Allen’s unwavering commitment to student success and her advocacy for educational excellence continue to inspire and uplift communities across Texas.
