The Rêve Prep experience

We are a tuition-free public charter school offering rigorous academics to Greater Houston students.

All students, including English language learners and those in special education, are encouraged to apply through the lottery.

Small class sizes

We purposely maintain smaller class sizes than most ISD campuses to ensure our students can receive 1:1 interaction with their teachers.  

Extended learning

Students spend 30% more time in school than those in Houston Public Schools, starting in early August to prepare for academic success.

High expectations

Learning extends beyond the classroom, with all students, starting in kindergarten, expected to complete quality homework nightly.

What makes Rêve Prep different?
At Rêve Prep, we are united in a mission to equip every student with the tools and confidence for lifelong success. Through shared dedication, we provide a high-quality education that exceeds expectations and transforms lives.

Our approach is grounded in these principles:

High Expectations: We set clear and rigorous expectations for academic achievement and conduct, creating a culture that empowers students to excel.

Co-Teaching Through 2nd Grade: Our youngest learners in Kinder through 2nd grade enjoy the benefit of two teachers per classroom. This co-teaching model allows for focused small-group rotations and a lower student-to-teacher ratio.

Strong Foundations in Literacy and Math: Students receive two hours of daily literacy instruction and at least 90 minutes of daily math instruction, building essential reading skills and advancing from basic math concepts to complex problem-solving.

Exceptional Educators: Our dedicated teachers and leaders are central to student success. We invest in their development, ensuring they have the tools to inspire and guide our students.

Safe & Supportive Environment: In a nurturing, structured setting, students feel secure to take risks, learn from their experiences, and stay focused on their goals.

Rêve Prep offers after-school care at our campus, often provided by third-party organizations authorized by the school. For more details, please contact our campus directly.
Who can enroll at Rêve Prep?
Per the Rêve Preparatory, Inc. charter, we are only permitted to enroll students who reside within the following districts: Houston ISD, Fort Bend ISD, Stafford Municipal School District, Aldine ISD, Alief ISD, Cypress-Fairbanks ISD, Katy ISD, Pasadena ISD, Pearland ISD, Spring Branch ISD, and Spring ISD.
